Typically, when pawning for a period of 30 days, the monthly fees are calculated based on two components. Firstly, there is a storage and handling fee which is equivalent to 20% of the pawn cost. Secondly, an interest fee of 5% is added to the pawn cost. When these two fees are combined, the total monthly fees become 25% of the pawn cost. For instance, if the pawn cost is $100, then the monthly fees would be $25. Please note that the percentage of these fees is subject to change.
Our pawnshop is open to accepting a wide range of items as collateral, but we always strive to come to a fair agreement on pricing. Nevertheless, please note that we cannot give out estimates for pawn values over the phone, email, or any other digital platform as we believe in the importance of conducting in-person evaluations. By doing so, we can ensure that our pricing process is transparent and accurate.
When you decide to pawn an item, we conduct a thorough evaluation of the object's worth based on multiple aspects, such as its present condition, age, and other pertinent details. This assessment helps us to determine the fair market value of the item. Once we ascertain the item's value, we create an account for you, and the pawning process begins. Our loan terms usually last for 30 days, after which the loan amount plus a fee of 25% of the principal is due. The fees must be paid every 30 days until the item is redeemed. When you come to reclaim your item, you need to pay back the pawn amount plus the fees, and then the item will be returned to you.
In accordance with legal regulations, if a pawn item remains unpaid for a period of 30 days, it is considered forfeit. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise and we strive to work with our clients to find a mutually beneficial solution. Typically, we offer a grace period of 2 months for the repayment of pawn items, during which time interest will continue to accrue.
